The last date of CA foundation registration for May 2019 is 31 Dec. Eligibility for this course is 10+2. After registration, you will get, minimum four months for preparation of CA foundation course.

In CA foundation course has 4 papers-

First one is - Principles and Practices of Accounting

Second is -Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting.

Third is- Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics

Fourth is -Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge

How to prepare for CA foundation or CPT

1. Make a Time-Table -

Prepare a proper timetable of your daily routine. Peoples who think that prepare a timetable and work accordingly is not right or better for us made mistakes. They think daily what I should read today and their time so it’s better to make a timetable. Work accordingly. Wait, a wrong timetable can be harmless for so make a proper timetable so that you can give proper time to every subject.

2. Join a foundation coaching -

3. Make Your Own Revision Notes-

Study for CPT

It’s very important to make your own notes, you can get thousands of books from the market but for yourself, your notes lead more important role while studying. They are more important than books. Written with your own hands, is easy to memorize. Always prepare short and tricky notes because whenever you revise it will save your time and it will also help you in the exam, at exam time you will not have sufficient time to revise whole books so at that time you can revise important topics in short time.

4. Calculator-

The calculator makes your work easy and it saves your time in the exam. without a calculator, you won’t able to pass the exam. So it’s important to grab command on the calculator because a little mistake can stop you pass the exam so be careful, do practice on the calculator so you can prevent yourself from mistakes. learn short keys it will save your time in the exam hall.

5. Give your mind a little rest-

If you want to study whole, it’s not good for your brain. You should Give your mind a little rest after studying 2-3 hour. Start your day with the theoretical subject and end your day with revision.

6. Revise course at least 3 times in exam-

Yes..! make a strategy like revise your full course solve every question every concept and everything, then revise only one question in every topic and concepts, at last only revise concepts. This the best strategy for revision. in third revision, your own notes can help you a bit more.

7. Give mock test or -

Mock test will also help you to understand how questions put up and they taught you the time management. we special recommend you to give mock tests after complete the course. Every student gives at least 8-10 mock test before the exam. Taking mock tests can increase your performance in the exam.

8. Don’t start anything new-

Don’t start anything new before your exam start it can confuse you. When you start something new some days or some week before the exam it causes depression and stress and you will start forgetting concepts due to stress so, be careful don’t start anything new just on what you learn till now.

9. Focus on Presentation-

It’s also an important part. Now your level has been changed. Now they are not your school exam. Increase your level of presentation in the exam, because it matters a lot. CA exam is professional and level of this exam is so hard, according to ICAI results of 2017 Pass Percentage for the CA Final is only 22.98%.so prepare your self for that level 

10. Last month-

CA foundation preparation 

Set a target to complete all course in 3 months and first revision (mentioned in the 3rd point) then save the last month for the last two revisions and attempt mock test papers as much as you can. And don”t jump over other textbook or lectures. Just read your own notes. And don’t forget to attempt mock tests.
